Diane Places More of Don's Stones
I placed one of Don's stones at the edge of Pyramid lake with a nice view of Pyramid Mountain in Jasper National Park. In recent years whenever we went to Jasper, we always biked the bike trail that goes from Jasper to Patricia and Pyramid Lakes and always really enjoyed it!
I placed Don's stone on the Wilcox Pass hike near the Columbia Icefield in Jasper National Park. This is another favourite hike that we did pretty well every time we came to Jasper. You almost always see Big Horn Sheep on this hike.
I placed one of Don's Stones at Lac Le Jeune Provincial Park campground by the lake. This was another of Don's favourite campgrounds. We usually stopped here on the way to and from the Rockies. You always here loons her in the morning and evening. Kiwi, Timmy and I heard them the morning we placed the stone.
In 2012 and 2013 Don and I went to Cathedral Lakes with friends for Thanksgiving. This year I went with the same friends (Ana and Tom (there in 2013), Phil and Jill (there in 2012 and 2013) as well as members of Ana's family - her mom, sister, niece, nephew, and brother. I placed one of Don's stones on the summit cairn of Quinescoe Mountain in Cathedral lakes Provincial Park. As you can see, there's a lovely view of Quinescoe Lake with the Cathedral Lakes Lodge located at the end of the lake. I had a wonderful sense of peace the next morning walking along Quinescoe Lake near the lodge.
